Young Living Essential Oils Used in Kent State Nursing Program

Young Living essential oils play a key role in an exciting new partnership between Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Foundation, the Kent State College of Nursing, the Nursing Self-Care Consortium Schools of Cleveland State University, and the Ursuline College Breen School of Nursing. Urban Zen faculty members are training the schools’ nursing students in integrative therapy modalities, which include essential oils, as part of the “Care for the Caregiver” program.

“Overall, I believe the use of Young Living essential oils has helped our students become more open to the different UZIT modalities,” says Tracey Motter, director of Kent State’s undergraduate BSN programs. “I’ve also noticed that the oils have benefited our students by helping them to decrease their stress levels and cope with the high-paced curriculum.”
