This is Tiger, Dr. Ginn Lee and a guide showing the width of a Hong Kuai tree.<\/p><\/div>\n

Dr. Ginn Lee, Tiger and I distilled Red Hinoki wood chips day and night to prepare this precious essential oil for the 2014 Convention. Within 3 weeks we had 60kg of Red Hinoki essential oil. Gary could have called it Red Hinoki essential oil, but since it originated from Taiwan he decided to call it by its Taiwanese name: Hong Kuai!!<\/p>\n

\"Bowl

This is a Hong Kuai vase. The growth rings represent every year it was alive and every ring has essential oil trapped inside. This means Hong Kuai essential oil can be over 1,000 years old!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Hong Kuai essential oil is known for its rich, woody aroma. After GCMS analysis it was discovered that 95% of Hong Kuai essential oil was composed of heavy, bioactive sesquiterpenes.<\/p>\n

\"Bark

The bark of Hong Kuai is soft. You can hit it with your fist without hurting yourself. Natives used strips of Hong Kuai bark to make shelters and boats.<\/p><\/div>\n

The sesquiterpene-rich Hong Kuai essential oil is known for its ability to \u201cbuild self-confidence and security\u201d prior to trying activities and actions.<\/p>\n

Hong Kuai trees are massive. Each year the Hong Kuai essential oil is stored in a new tree ring. Centuries and centuries of Hong Kuai oil are stored in each tree. Hong Kuai trees must not be cut down, only Mother Nature may harvest these great trees.<\/p><\/div>\n

At the 2013 Convention, Taiwanese essential oils made their debut in Gary\u2019s Exotic Oils Collection. The oils were Jade Lemon, Xiang Mao and Hong Kuai (pronounced: Ho-ng Ku-eye). All three oils are singles today that you can purchase with every order.<\/p>\n

\"Taiwanese

Hong Kuai trees fall in landslides during the Monsoon season. After many years they eventually wash down to the lowland rivers where they are picked up by the government and native tribes.<\/p><\/div>\n

Hong Kuai essential oil is special because Hong Kuai trees are one of the oldest living trees today. However, Young Living only creates the essential oil from fallen down Hong Kuai trees from the monsoon seasons. We never cut live trees.<\/p>\n

\"Rings

Each tree ring stores Hong Kuai essential oil. Most Hong Kuai essential oil is about 1000-2000 years old. What value!<\/p><\/div>\n

Each growth ring contains essential oil. So in every bottle you are getting essential oil from the first year it grew to the last, which could could be over 1,000 years old.<\/p>\n
