It occupies the old homestead house of Whispering Springs. At one time the farm was called “Whispering Springs Farm”. When you see the wood floors at the entry of the Visitor Center, you will be going back in time and feel relaxed.

The first two rooms you visit contain displays to explain Gary Young’s Seed to Seal process that occur on all his global farms. You can learn about Seed to Seal by watching a video, viewing details from a large display, or examining a collection of authentic herbal seeds. You’ll gain a great education in these two rooms, but you’ll learn even more when you walk the farm to gain your own Seed to Seal experience.

As you walk into the large back room you will be able to shop through shelves and displays of Young Living’s amazing products. You’ll find some products here that are not available on-line. The Visitor Center has single oils and blends that are “out-of-stock”, but available only here. So come prepared to be surprised by some of the products you can purchase here.

I tried the Lavender Lemonade that is made by the staff. You’ll love the flavor and taste.

The Visitor Center is a great place to relax. After walking the farm and distillery you may want a refreshing drink. Take your refreshment out on the covered porch at sit down at one of the picnic tables. From the shade of the porch you can see the lake. You may want to take a tour of the lake in a paddle boat. Maybe you’ll feed the large trout.

Watch out for the beautiful, black swan – she may look calm, but she’s been known to “bite the hands that feeds her”.

Come to Lavender Day on June 27th and have your own Seed to Seal experience!!

Source: Dr Cole Woolley PhD, June 24, 2015

Next to the Visitor Center at the Young Living Lavender Farm is a well-manicured herbal and aromatic garden. Many of the plants chosen for this garden are familiar to you as Young Living essential oils – Lavender, Clary Sage, Melissa, German chamomile, Basil, Oregano, Dill, Geranium, Goldenrod, Peppermint, Spearmint and Rosemary. Imagine as you slowly walk and pause at each labeled plant.

Pull a leaf peppermint, crush it between your fingers, and enjoy feeling “alive”. Pet the lavender plant with both hands, then bring your hands close to your face and inhale – this is “relaxation heaven”.

Notice the large water fountain in the shade of some large cottonwood trees. From the fountain runs a constant stream. Follow the thin stream as it passes down the hill passed the 19th century western town, then through grassy slopes on its way to some small ponds.

You’ll notice the medieval village houses and shops as you follow the narrow stream. When it’s really hot in July and August you will be tempted to take off your shoes and socks to soak your hot feet in this cool stream (I’ve done it a number of times).

Source: Dr Cole Woolley PhD, June 17, 2015

One of the gems of the Young Living Lavender Farm is the Visitor Center.
